I'll be doing a little thing on OpenCL, an open standard for a computing language that is MASSIVELY parallizeable, and a bit on how i develop in it.

I'm currently working on an undergraduate research project coding a simulator for eletromagnetic waves in OpenCL.

Our original plans for Tuesday's meeting didn't work out, so instead we're asking for everyone to contribute by preparing a Lightning Talk.

A lightning talk lasts a few minutes and be on any topic that the group might be interested in. You can include slides or demos or not.
Bring something to talk about for a few minutes, and we'll all learn cool and interesting stuff from each other.
Please the topic you'll be talking about to the mailing list so that we can get an idea of what will be covered. I'll be speaking briefly on HTML5.

After the talks and our election, we will decide on a location for dinner.
See you there!

Thanks,
Edward
